I do not go hunting for what matters each day; the system brings it to me. The answer is usually already sitting there before I go looking for it.

One page holds the day. The first thing I open is a single page with today on it: today's and overdue tasks, closeable right there without opening anything else, next to today's mail digest and today's reading. One glance, one place.

The Dashboard holds the full task picture. It opens on the week ahead, every task with a day assignment grouped by day, today first, then a tabbed block: the active queue ranked by priority, the deliberately parked list, what arrived in the last fortnight, and everything. A separate view holds tasks the system closed itself, waiting for my review.

A news briefing writes itself each morning. A scheduled job scans a fixed set of feeds across several lanes: AI, private equity, current affairs, and a handful of independent writers I follow directly. It ranks by judgement rather than volume, keeping substantive moves and dropping incremental noise. The most important stories get pulled in full and summarised properly, through my own logged-in browser session where a source needs it; when that session is not reachable, the item is queued for an upgrade pass rather than silently degraded. All of it lands as one dated note, and nothing in it enters my permanent content library unless I pick it.

Two lists catch drift. A live view surfaces notes that were never filed anywhere sensible, and areas that have gone quiet longer than they should have. Both are built live from the current state of the vault, so they are accurate the moment I open them.

Every note shows its own connections. Any piece of content in the library carries a block with two views: every note it links to or that links back to it, and a second list the system builds itself by scoring overlap across shared people, shared companies or works, shared tags, shared projects, shared subject areas. Write something today that happens to share three tags and a person with a note from eighteen months ago, and the connection is already there when I open the file, whether or not I remembered the older note existed.

None of this replaces thinking. It means I am never the one who has to search for the raw material first.
